One day comprehensive workshop will give participants an initial knowledge of the encaustic wax medium and method - from tools and techniques for fusing, layering, scraping/scribing, building up of texture, collage, monotype, image transfer, combining oil and encaustic, dipping photos, and much more. Artists with backgrounds in almost any medium will find this workshop an exciting opportunity to expand their visual vocabulary with wax.
When: Wednesday January 20, 2010 from 9am - 4pm.

Drawing / Art classes are offered at Tori's studio here in Todos Santos every Thursday morning from 9:00 - 10:30. The classes have been running with much positive feedback since spring of 2008, and are geared to a drop in basis to accomodate visitors or busy schedules.
