Roxanne Sparks"I am observant, remembering places and making composites of them on my canvas with the feeling of place more important to me than literal representation. But with my recent move to Todos Santos, the beauty of the area and quality of light are influencing me to step out into pieces representing the magic of the area."

I have been in love with making art since early childhood. During my career as a graphic artist, my concentration was on illustration, creating everything from hand drawn logos to watercolor illustration for magazine publication. Until recently, most of my concepts outside the graphics world have been from my imagination, representing an image, an idea, a feeling, a dream or an experience that I need to express.
